Shop Policies

Appointments & Drop-Off

All drop-offs and pickups are by appointment only. Please bring your instrument in a case — hard cases preferred. Before drop-off, remove any tuners, capos, straps, and humidifiers from the case. Katsaros Guitars is not responsible for personal items left with the instrument.

Estimates & Approvals

A $75 bench fee applies to all work and is applied toward your final invoice. Labor is billed at $150/hour. All estimates are provided before work begins — nothing additional is done without your approval. Turnaround times are estimates and not guaranteed.

Payment

Jobs under $500 require full payment upfront. Jobs over $500 require a 50% deposit, with the remainder due at pickup. Special order parts must be paid in advance. We accept Venmo, Zelle, card, and cash. Checks are not accepted.

Warranty

All labor carries a 30-day guarantee. Setups include a complimentary follow-up adjustment within 30 days of completion. The warranty does not cover damage caused by environmental factors, humidity changes, or any alterations made to the instrument after it leaves the shop. Warranty coverage is at the sole discretion of Katsaros Guitars.

Storage

To keep things moving, instruments left more than 15 days after completion will incur a $10/day storage fee. Instruments left unclaimed after 60 days and multiple contact attempts may be sold to recoup costs.

Liability

Every instrument is handled with professional care. However, Katsaros Guitars cannot be held responsible for loss or damage resulting from fire, theft, or circumstances beyond our control. Owners of high-value instruments are encouraged to carry their own insurance.
